Care Instructions

It is important that you understand that dyed shoes and bags may not be colour fast.

This means that colour may rub off on to other fabrics or materials and that colour may run or bleed if allowed to get wet. Our method of dyeing means that these effects are reduced in most cases compared to standard dyeing methods BUT not entirely eliminated.

Our advice is to avoid contact with moisture and if you wish to keep your dyed items looking their best for as long as possible use a suitable water proofing spray to add a degree of protection.

However, if you are having your shoes and or bag dyed for a single event (e.g. a wedding) and you wish to have them redyed to black later then the spray protector is best avoided, if conditions allow. Items protected are still dyeable to black but the finish may be affected slightly.
